I'll go to STOP &SHOP for sales, I usually goo to one in Chelmsford. But happened to be I area so I stopped. A HUGE difference in the meats, here the meats on sale were horrible, purposely leaving all fat and more skin, so you got so less meat. I ended up passing up buying Any. It was very visible to eye the difference between sale and non sale meats.
Been a regular Stop & Shop shopper spending no less than $100 on variety of fruits alone every time I go there almost once a week, today was bad, the lady (white) at the check out counter was I think "mockingly" asked me "are you paying food stamp? It's not working", why would she assumed I was gonna pay food stamp, was it because I was Asian/Brown? Yet she didn't asked the gentleman (white) ahead of me. Not saying that people paying food stamp are something, we all need help one or more times in our lives and that's great because we have a helpful government, but it's just annoying people profile you the way you look or by the color of your skin.
Good place for overall shopping. Good price. Most of the things are available here. Amazing thing is now it has Beer and wine store in it.
Worked here for 5_6 years before when I was there it was a good job and location great co workers easy to get along with affordable an fun place to shop....only downside is the junkies that go to bathroom and shoot up and throw around needles
I will NEVER go to this store again! I'll stick to the one in Chelmsford!!!
Stop and Shop is the largest supermarket in the area and essentially without competition, which now shows in higher costs and a significant drop in quality/inventory and poor attitudes of staff. The intention of what should be available and use to be was very good, however the reality is lacking a follow through in providing the goal. Many products are not stocked at all and assistance with basic meats is very poor (trying to be kind).
